I have to say for some reason I am just stuck on indestructible...I LOVE that cd. I listened to a few track online...its just not rocking enough for me and I know thats the point. I just think rancid hands down is my taste. Nothing beats that. I am going to give this cd a real listen...even if I don't love it I am sure I will like it...I too feel like I should buy it.

I think it will take me a few listens to get into the solo album. I just don't know if I like Tim Armstrong doing the slower, more striaghtforwad reggae type stuff. Especially when his backing band the Aggrolites do it way better than he does.
That said, I love the fact that he put it online for his fans. I love the videos. I love the spirit behind it.

Well today I went out and bought my copy of Tim Armstrong's first solo album. He made this album to thank his fans and he put it on the internet for free for everyone. By thanking him back as a loyal fan of his for years I went to Black Hole records and spent money on a copy. What's real impressive is the cd came with an additional dvd with a music video for each and every song. I have never seen that done by any artist. I didn't think there was any un-selfish
artist out there anymore considering everyone downloading albums and putting record stores outta business. I know this is not Social D related but it made my day.

From what I've heard so far, I'm digging it. I really like the Aggrolites too, nice choice for a backing band. I'll pick up a copy this week.

I stuck this at end of a recording thread. All I can find on youtube of Tim at the Weenie Roast.

Looks like Lars joined him too. Crap! Would love to see the whole thing.

Thanks for video! Yes, I'm not in love with the Tim Armstrong solo stuff, but he does so many things right it's hard to fault him on anything. The solo stuff is fun, but I really enjoyed hearing Time Bomb and Ruby Soho at the end with Lars. I saw Rancid last December, I was impressed that their t-shirts were only 19 bucks. With the upcharge they pay the venue can't fault them for that either. Since we are talking about age in another thread, my boyfriend couldn't believe it when he overheard a girl say "I didn't realize they were so old". Ha!
